Moving to another country can be exciting and fun, challenging and frustrating, as well as infuriating and lonely…. all at the same time!!
In addition, the support network we had at home is not as readily available, and we don’t really want to burden the friends back home with stories of how hard it sometimes feels to settle down. Sharing this experience with others can be enriching, educational, fun and supportive. It is also a place to share insights and experiences that are part of normal life.
Because the group is facilitated by a professional counsellor, you can always be sure that everyone is given equal attention and space to share, and that a certain depth of communication is maintained that is both informative and supportive.
